VegTrug Awarded FSC Certificate for UK Operations
VegTrug are pleased to announce that we have passed our UK warehouse and workflow inspection to be awarded the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Certificate for Outdoor Furniture and Gardening products.
The FSC runs a global forest certification system with two key components: Forest Management and Chain of Custody certification. This system allows consumers to identify, purchase and use timber and forest products produced from well-managed forests.
The Forest Stewardship Council’s “tick tree” logo is used on product labels to indicate whether products are certified under the FSC system. When you see the FSC logo on a label you can buy timber and other wood products, such as paper, with the confidence that you are not contributing to the destruction of the world’s forests. VegTrug will be proud to display the FSC logo on every VegTrug box.
Our factories are also in full compliance and have their own individual FSC certificates which can be checked on the database at the FSC website.
This means that the company is in full compliance with supplying our FSC certified VegTrugs for sale throughout the world and throughout our chain of supply.
