New VegTrug Website LIVE!

VegTrug Website

VegTrug have launched a major new consumer oriented website at www.vegtrug.com. The new site which has been several months in development was launched prior to the GLEE show in September and now has all features fully live and operational.

Customers visiting the new VegTrug website will now be able to search for a local stockist by Town or Post Code and will even be able to upload pictures of their own VegTrug to the new User Gallery.

The Growers Guides have now been separated to make them more usable into Herbs, Vegetables and Fruits and we will be able to update and add to these sections much more easily now.

The support sections are now much easier to navigate, with customers being able to download instructions and watch online videos with ease.

International customers can expect to see the site available in their local language over the next few weeks.

The new VegTrug website was designed and implemented by our colleagues at Art Science and was part funded with a grant from the European Regional Development Fund-supported takeITon scheme administered by Business Link in the UK.

David Marsh from Business Link explains, “In addition to providing a grant of up to 40% towards the costs of an eligible IT project, the European Regional Development Fund-supported takeITon scheme also offers companies considerable support. This includes a time budget for specialist advisers like me to spend conducting IT and website reviews, as well as to assist clients with specifications, selection and implementation.”

Joe Denham explains, the process was incredibly straightforward: “We talked through our digital marketing strategy with David, including our plans to launch a more interactive, consumer-led site to create an online VegTrug community. David’s expert input at this stage was invaluable.  He even assisted with the grant application  process, which resulted in an award almost up to the full amount available towards the cost of our new website.”

We would like to thank the UKTI Advisers, David Marsh from Business Link, Dan, Ashley and the whole team from Art Science for doing such a fantastic job with the VegTrug website project.
