VegTrug Sponsor Veteran Racer
VegTrug have sponsored Paul Owen to compete in the Vets MX Des Nations Motocross Race at Farleigh Castle on the weekend of September 24th and 25th.
The event will see veteran motocross racers from all over the world compete in 9 separate classes during the weekend.
Among the World Champions and greats competing will be: Dave Thorpe, Shayne King, Josh Coppins, Darryl King, Gordon Crockard, Rikki Priest, Neil Prince, Werner De Wit, Greg Hanson, Ryan Hunt and around 450 of the worlds best Twin shock/EVO riders from England, USA, Australia, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Northern Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Finland, Italy and Germany.
Paul likes to keep it to himself, but he is an Expert Rider and has been racing competitively since he was 6 years old. He will be competing in the 125cc Evo Class on a VegTrug sponsored 1989 Kawasaki 125 EVO which has been completely rebuilt by Paul. The rebuild took some 4 months of painstaking work to complete during (very rare) moments of leisure time.
The VegTrug sponsored Kawasaki was unveiled for its first 'shakedown' this weekend after the rebuild and we took the opportunity to take some photos.
