Trade Press Release January 2011

VegTrug Mini

VegTrug Limited recently celebrated their first anniversary and the company continues to go from strength to strength. Launched in September 2009 at GLEE this British gardening products company has had a remarkable 2010 by any standards.

New for 2011 are the Mini VegTrug (RRP £79.99) and a superb range of Greenhouse Covers for the large and small VegTrugs. The Greenhouses come with a choice of PVC or Micromesh covers and there will also be a fleece cover available. The new products will be available in March to all resellers.

The VegTrug is now firmly established as the brand leader in the raised bed grow-your-own category and the product is now selling strongly world-wide. During 2010 the business secured contracts to supply the VegTrug in Denmark, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Holland, Ireland and the USA. In Australia alone, the product is being sold through more than 230 Bunnings stores. This export success prompted Gardenex Federation to issue an independent press release highlighting the company’s ‘remarkable export success’ in November 2010.

In the UK, VegTrug increased the number of retail partners it sells through to more than 150, most significantly signing Hilliers and The Garden Centre Group in December. On the mail order side the VegTrug is now available through Suttons Seeds, Agriframes, Wordstores, Garden Bargains and Crocus. As part of this agreement the VegTrug will also be available via the Telegraph Online Shop, the Homebase Online Shop and the RHS Online Shop.

VegTrug are a trade only business and do not sell directly to the public.

Full details of the VegTrug range can be found at www.vegtrug.com and you can visit their news and blog website at www.vegtrug.net for all the latest company and product news.

Bring the Big VEGTRUG to Australia...looking forward to a bigger vegtrug. I am very with my current one, but my poor vegies are getting a bit overcrowded. Let us know whether this one will reach our shores.

We are talking to the Distributors all the time. The more comments we get like this, the more likely they are to bring it in. Hopefully we can get it stocked for next season.
