Mail Order Agreement, Crocus, RHS Online, Telegraph Online and Homebase Online

We are delighted to announce an agreement to sell the Small (1m) VegTrug through Crocus.co.uk - the largest gardening online retailer in the UK. As part of the agreement, the VegTrug will also be available via the Telegraph Online Shop, the Homebase Online Shop and the RHS Online Shop.

Since their launch in April 2000, Crocus have grown into the biggest gardening website in the UK and the only one able to supply a significant range of plants. Their approach has won many compliments. The two most significant being the Yell.com Best Commerce Site Award for 2001 beating the likes of Sainsburys.co.uk, and the Sunday Telegraph's @chievement 2001 Award for which Crocus won the small business category – no mean feat when you consider that the winners of the other categories were Tesco.com and Majestic.com.

Crocus have also grown plants for the show gardens at the Chelsea flower show every year since they started. In the last 9 years Crocus have won 11gold medals for gardens that they have built and grown the plants for.

As a result Crocus now provide plants for most of the leading gardendesigners in the country. People like Arabella Lennox Boyd, Tom Stuart Smith, Jinny Blom, Andy Sturgeon, Kim Wilkie, Sarah Eberle, Piet Oudolfand Ulf Nordfjell to name a few!

Paul Owen, Director UK for VegTrug Limited said, "this will significantly improve the availability of the Small VegTrug to our UK customers and we are delighted to be starting with Crocus ready for the Spring 2011 season. There is no doubt that the product lends itself to Mail Order availability and Crocus is one of the best in the business. To be sold through the RHS, Telegraph and Homebase Sites firmly establishes the VegTrug as the brand leader in the UK raised vegetable garden market."
