We recently received a lovely letter from Bedford Borough Council after VegTrug Limited donated a VegTrug to the Kempston in Bloom project. The donation allowed for children at the Bedford Road Lower School to plant up a VegTrug on site with a variety of herbs with their teacher and the Park Ranger for the project.

Poplar Nursery and Garden Centre our local stockist donated the compost necessary for the children to plant the VegTrug

The children will learn about how to grow their own food and will also experience the tastes and smells of the food as it grows and is cultivated.

As a result of the donation, the project has been extended across all 4 lower schools in Kempston. We are delighted to have played a small part in the project and wish everyone involved the best of success with the VegTrug.
