We are delighted to see that VegTrug won the Best Buy feature this month in Amateur Gardening Magazine. The magazine featured various 'planters' and the VegTrug was voted Best Buy with an incredible 19/20 scored.

VegTrug Recommends Protek Water Based Preservatives
We are often asked to recommend a preservative for use with the VegTrug and are now delighted to announce our recommendation of the Protek range of water based preservatives for the treatment of the VegTrug range of products.
Certified to BS EN 71-3:1995, the Protek range is suitable for treatment of playground equipment as well as food safe applications like VegTrug.
The added advantage is that the customer can choose to keep the natural finish of the wood by using the Protek 'Clear Tough Coat' product or can stain the VegTrug with any colour from the range with a single coat of the 'Wood Protector' range first and then a coat of the Clear Tough Coat to finish.
We have tested the stains and finishes on the VegTrug and as you can see from our samples the VegTrug can now be finished in any colour by the customer to an extremely high standard.
We think Protek offers amazing value for money and your choice of stain and protective finish can be used on your shed and fence as well as your VegTrug.

VegTrug Awarded FSC Certificate for UK Operations
VegTrug are pleased to announce that we have passed our UK warehouse and workflow inspection to be awarded the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Certificate for Outdoor Furniture and Gardening products.
The FSC runs a global forest certification system with two key components: Forest Management and Chain of Custody certification. This system allows consumers to identify, purchase and use timber and forest products produced from well-managed forests.
The Forest Stewardship Council’s “tick tree” logo is used on product labels to indicate whether products are certified under the FSC system. When you see the FSC logo on a label you can buy timber and other wood products, such as paper, with the confidence that you are not contributing to the destruction of the world’s forests. VegTrug will be proud to display the FSC logo on every VegTrug box.
Our factories are also in full compliance and have their own individual FSC certificates which can be checked on the database at the FSC website.
This means that the company is in full compliance with supplying our FSC certified VegTrugs for sale throughout the world and throughout our chain of supply.
